Benefit 07 - Copying and Pasting to IT Tool
Over the last few years Samsung has brought out various versions of software to program the telephone system, the latest being the Installation tool. Unlike the other versions it’s more of a Windows' based application which basically means it can be treated in that way!!
This leads to the latest system benefit which can save the user / system administrator a lot of time. This is the ability to copy & paste from an Excel document directly to the software, then once it is inserted the ability to then copy from one table within the software to another.
An example of where this is a benefit, would be customer speed dials & clip translation. (This gives the customer the ability to speed dial and the ability to see the name of the caller who is calling in on their display phones)
Many customers have electronic spreadsheets with speed dials. All the customer would need to do is a simple copy and paste and all the numbers will be inserted into the system. To copy the information to the clip translation table, the same process is carried out.
What is required & How to set it up
All the customer needs to have working is the Installation programming. (This is not a standard program, it is a chargeable option)
There are two program modes that the user needs to go into, MMC 705 system speed dials and MMC 728 clip translation.
