Benefit 06 - CLI Ringing 

CLI Ringing is a facility that enables you to program the system to define where a caller is directed, by recognition of their CLI. This can be programmed by ring plans in the same way as the DDI table but if an entry is put in the system it overrides the DDI table. This means every time a caller rings in and displays their number, regardless of what number they ring in on it will always go to the set destinations.  
 
For example, some of our customer’s ring in to the main reception on a regular basis to ask to report a fault.  If we put their numbers into this table we could direct the calls straight to the service department. Please be aware that there are only 100 entries at present. (This may vary in later software levels)
 
Also available within this facility is the ability to reject and prioritise calls. The priority option has 9 levels of priority attached to it, 1 is the most important and 9 is the least. (This apply to this table only)
 
What is required & How to set it up
 
The only thing that is required to set this benefit up is an Officeserv telephone system and the completion of 1 table within the system. (MMC 759) It is very self explanatory.
